Fitment Notes

PFF85-532 is an insert designed to fill the voids of the original bush. This mount is found on various 2.0 FSi, 2.0 TFSi, 2.0 GTi, 2.0 Turbo & V6 3.2 & 3.6 engines. Please check voids of your original mount are the same as the image shown for correct fitment. Does not fit Audi TTRS or RS3 models. NVH is expected to increase on diesel models. PFF85-532 Upper Engine Mount Insert is designed to fit into the original voided rubber mount which degrades and softens over time, allowing for excessive movement of the engine and premature failure. So far the only options have been to replace the worn out mounts with new standard mounts or upgrade to expensive aftermarket mounts that promote excessive NVH levels. This Powerflex insert is an easy-to-fit intermediate solution to the above-mentioned problems.

Powerflex Polyurethane Bushes

Bushes are one of the most highly stressed components fitted to a car. They undergo enormous strain, in the most arduous of conditions with no maintenance or lubrication. Conventional rubber bushes deteriorate with age allowing movement of suspension components and geometry. This can cause tyre wear, braking instability, poor handling and engine deflection.
    Powerflex Suspension Bushes:
  • Improve your car's road holding and chassis performance
  • Allow your suspension to function efficiently
  • Tyres have increased road contact at all times
  • Improved safety and performance
  • Have the same noise absorption as rubber bushes
  • Normally no increase in vibration / harshness through the car
Powerflex Bushes are made from a technologically advanced polyurethane plastic compound impervious to petrol and vehicle oil, which doesn't age or perish and has a longer working life - up to 3-4 times that of conventional rubber bushes. In addition this compound overcomes the common problem associated with harder bushes which is increased noise. By correct engineering the polyurethane compound bushes can be made 25-30% stiffer than rubber bushes, but with exactly the same noise absorption properties. Unlike old technology Poly bushes any increase in vibration / harshness felt through the vehicle is normally undetectable.
