Fitment Notes

PFR57-106 has been designed to replace the rear trailing arm front bush where the arm locates onto the chassis. These bushes are no longer available from Porsche unless you buy the complete arm at a cost of over 1000.00. The RS model had a stiffer bush fitted over the standard non RS models, the Powerflex bush will upgrade the standard bushes to a similar stiffness to that of the RS version. PFR57-106 comes with Oil Lite bearings to allow the arm to pivot freely allowing the suspension to work with no loading from the bush with positive location.
  • Description

Powerflex Polyurethane Bushes

Bushes are one of the most highly stressed components fitted to a car. They undergo enormous strain, in the most arduous of conditions with no maintenance or lubrication. Conventional rubber bushes deteriorate with age allowing movement of suspension components and geometry. This can cause tyre wear, braking instability, poor handling and engine deflection.
    Powerflex Suspension Bushes:
  • Improve your car's road holding and chassis performance
  • Allow your suspension to function efficiently
  • Tyres have increased road contact at all times
  • Improved safety and performance
  • Have the same noise absorption as rubber bushes
  • Normally no increase in vibration / harshness through the car
Powerflex Bushes are made from a technologically advanced polyurethane plastic compound impervious to petrol and vehicle oil, which doesn't age or perish and has a longer working life - up to 3-4 times that of conventional rubber bushes. In addition this compound overcomes the common problem associated with harder bushes which is increased noise. By correct engineering the polyurethane compound bushes can be made 25-30% stiffer than rubber bushes, but with exactly the same noise absorption properties. Unlike old technology Poly bushes any increase in vibration / harshness felt through the vehicle is normally undetectable.
