Fitment Notes

PFR3-214 Rear Beam Rear Mounting Bush replaces the original rubber bushes that so often become worn as the material perishes and deteriorates with age. These bushes feature an internal mesh pattern that is designed to retain grease to promote free rotation of the stainless steel sleeve. Featuring a CNC machined aluminium outer shell that houses polyurethane bushes that are designed to offer increased stability of the rear beam.
  • Description

Powerflex Polyurethane Bushes

Bushes are one of the most highly stressed components fitted to a car. They undergo enormous strain, in the most arduous of conditions with no maintenance or lubrication. Conventional rubber bushes deteriorate with age allowing movement of suspension components and geometry. This can cause tyre wear, braking instability, poor handling and engine deflection.
    Powerflex Suspension Bushes:
  • Improve your car's road holding and chassis performance
  • Allow your suspension to function efficiently
  • Tyres have increased road contact at all times
  • Improved safety and performance
  • Have the same noise absorption as rubber bushes
  • Normally no increase in vibration / harshness through the car
Powerflex Bushes are made from a technologically advanced polyurethane plastic compound impervious to petrol and vehicle oil, which doesn't age or perish and has a longer working life - up to 3-4 times that of conventional rubber bushes. In addition this compound overcomes the common problem associated with harder bushes which is increased noise. By correct engineering the polyurethane compound bushes can be made 25-30% stiffer than rubber bushes, but with exactly the same noise absorption properties. Unlike old technology Poly bushes any increase in vibration / harshness felt through the vehicle is normally undetectable.
