Important Fitment Details

Volkswagen Golf MK4 front wheel drive kit consists of 6 braided lines and 2 Copper/Nickel metal pipes. Part number: BHOSG6, this kit has been developed by C & R Enterprises to replace all the flexible brake pipes on the vehicle including, the original rear flexi and metal pipe which attaches to the rear calipers using a banjo union fitting. The original hoses have a habit of leaking after a few years due to the combination of steel washers on the banjo against the aluminium of the caliper (the corroded components do not seal correctly.

Goodridge Stainless Brake Hoses

Goodridge stainless steel brake hose kits are available to suit most Volkswagens, Audis, Seat and Skodas. Kits feature finest quality hose, consisting of a PTFE inner with a stainless steel outerbraid. This helps to eliminate spongy pedal feel under arduous conditions, giving greater braking efficiency as well as providing superior resistance to abrasion and corrosion.  All Goodridge hose kits, not only provide the reliability and safety demanded but offer brilliant looks to improve the appearance of the vehicle.

Zinc Plated or stainless Fittings
We keep large stocks of the VW hoses with long lasting zinc plated end fittings, however, the option of upgrading to stainless ends is available at an additional cost but these hoses do have to be ordered as they are not held in stock.

Goodridge Colourlex Hose Option

The standard hose kits come with a clear plastic sleeve over the stainless braided hose and Goodridge printed onto the sleeve. You can customise your hose kit by specifying from any of the eleven Colourflex options. Match the colour of your brake hoses to the colour of your car, your brake calipers or brake drums:
choose from yellow, red, lime green, electric blue and many others. Once you have decided on the colour you can still choose either zinc plated or stainless fittings.
Note - all coloured hose options take a about two weeks to be manufactured.
